Take a trip to Alabama? My god, what a depressing thought, Pasha.
Steve, that was a joke
.
Speaking seriously, What about Hawaii? Have you ever been to Hawaii? Thousands kilometers of ocean around, isn't that amazing? Thousands kilometers from mainland US. Almost like Iceland just warmer. Covids cases relatively low there. Although I've heard Hawaii is a basically big US military base and everyone there are in the military. I don't know is that good thing or bad, but I can bet it is on the Russian and Chinese ICBMs target list. Another thing, Hawaii Islands are tops of giant volcanoes and sleeping on top of a volcano might be challenging.
Oh, I know it was a joke, Pasha. And it was a good one too

No self-respecting person living in California would ever go to Alabama, unless they had to for some reason, like being in the military or something.
And, yes I’ve been to Hawaii, but I don’t really like it. My oldest sister loves it. But, I think the place is boring. Sure, it’s pretty and all, but it’s kind of a weird place. It’s a string of 8 small islands. Only one has the military base I believe, which is where Honolulu is, the only real city. I didn’t go there, but to this little island further West, Kuaui. Very boring (I think it’s where the movie Jurassic Park was filmed). The North end of the island is where a crowd of old people live with lots of golf courses. The Southern Part of the Island is where a real town is, and the airport, and it‘s boring too. They have beaches and all, but it’s no Iceland for sure. None of the charm Iceland has. And Kuaui is overrun by wild chickens. Chickens everywhere. If you go to the store there will be about 100 wild chicken plucking around the parking lot, sitting on your car when you come out. And, everyone just puts up with these chickens running wild all over. It’s a weird place.
No, I wouldn’t go back. Low corona rates, that’s true, but it’s not what you’d think. It’s kind of isolated and backward, with old roads, like I said wild chickens everywhere, and not that many people living there.
And Kuaui is next to this weird island called Ni‘ihau, the „forbidden island.“ Only 160 natives live there and there’s no electricity (the natives use generators), no phones, no internet, and the natives don’t like visitors. You can only get there by helicopter. So, you can take a day trip there but not stay over. The natives are unfriendly and there’s no restaurants or hotels. It’s a very weird place too.
Yeah, so Hawaii is not all that great.

I went to that beach. It was okay but I got too much sand in my shoes.
Then there’s these guys to deal with :
