Is it OK to say,''Thanks. My pleasure'' to someone who has invited you to have dinner at their house?

"It would be a pleasure to come" "It really is a pleasure having dinner with you"

But you usually only use "My pleasure" instead of "Your Welcome", after someone has thanked you for doing something.

Thanks Neal. So, I correctly informed my students that ''Thanks. My pleasure.'' cannot go together. That line was part of a conversation I taught them couple weeks ago.
