Jerry,

Did you read the 14th Amendment in the New York Times article? I don`t how you can be much clearer than that. Where’s the ambiguity? This isn’t like Roe v. Wade where the US Supreme Court found certain liberty rights in the “penumbras” of the due process clause to come up with particular legal rights not spelled out clearly. I`ll admit that was a bit of a stretch (and that’s reaching back 30 years to Con. Law class, remembering all that).

I`d recommend doing the constitutional amendment route, like Neal says. Or let`s compromise. We repeal the 2nd Amendment entirely because it is such a pathetic old joke it`s not even funny, and worthless on top of that, in exchange for your 14th Amendment alteration to keep out the people you don’t want born to illegals and tourists. Or just make citizenship require one US citizen parent and make place of birth irrelevant like in Europe. I don’t really care one way or the other to be honest.

Neal,

What are you going to do with that AA-12? Hunt squirrels? Please. Why would anyone waste his money on something like that?

I think the rioting liberals aren’t going to be much threat to your farm anyway. So, fogetaboutit.
