Kseniia, contactless payment does exist here, there just aren't very many places where you're able to do it. Not carrying any cash at all is simply not an option in Germany - yet. Many small shops still refuse to accept anything but cash if the total is under 5, 10 or 20 Euros (depends on the shop).
