And yes, it looks like a  square code bar. You can code any information there. For example, if you’d like to lead your customers to a certain page at your website (as I did for a hotel). Or just code your contacts. Most people(youth in Russia at least) have qr app for scanning these codes. So, they don’t need put down the information ( websites, contacts , ect). They scan code and get data on their phones.
